Monday, September 27, 2010. Tundra born, tundra fed. I had a very interesting conversation with a scientist today while at work. He offered to show me some pictures that he took on his last trip to Africa to work with the locals to have better sustainable soil. That started a conversation about how as a double Arctic genetic pool that I come from, I am more able to live with limited certain food groups, mainly vegetables. It was good to know that I am feeding my family the appropriate diet.

Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Renda in Nome, AK. Every year on our anniversary we always go and take a sunset picture. This year we got a treat with having the Renda (the ship from Russia delivering fuel to Nome) in the backgroud. We celebrated 2,555 days of being married.Hard to believe that 7 years ago we were in an ice storm in Washington and yesterday we were in -13 degrees. Hopefully one of these years we will be able to celebrate in a warm location. With sunsets like the one we witnessed yesterday).

Sunday, November 7, 2010. Happy 1st Birthday Graciana! Our little peanut turned 1 today! We celebrated last night with a great party with family and friends in Kent.we dont' have the pictures from the party yet but we will post them as soon as we can. Today we spent a low key day hanging out.the perfect day to celebrate! With Lola and G-Pa! We are looking forward to celebrating in Nome next weekend! Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Saturday, October 29, 2011. The sun was shining and we decided to head on down to Carpinito's pumpkin patch. This year G LOVED the pumpkin patch compared to last year where she was scared of pumpkins. Lola came with us. And Uncle Drewbie came with us too! She loved jumping in the puddles.
