In Summer there is plenty to do and see. Here are a few examples. There are some amazing mountain walks in the Pirin Mountains and Pirin National Park with some peaks rising to 2,500m, glacial lakes, old forests and waterfalls. There are marked plenty of marked paths to follow. Dobrinishte is the most famous for its mineral springs, there is a chair lift to take you up the mountain, this runs during the summer. Day look of the monastery dates back to the 19th century.
