And asking me to send in the money so they could send me my membership packet. This seemed to make AARP very sad, as they not only continued sending me the initial letters (why haven't you joined yet) but also began sending many, many notices asking me to please pay. Sunday, April 30, 2006. The White House Correspondent's Dinner was last night at the Hilton in Dupont Circle. I was talking to a friend who lives in the area and he said he could hear the helicopters flying overhead - it is strange to be living so close to so much political activity! Steven Cobert (formerly of the Daily Show, but now he has his own show "the Cobert Report" on Comedy Central) was the MC - click. To see his performance! My favorite joke was about glaciers. Wednesday, December 28, 2005. It was truly a tea christmas in my household - with gifts of tea and tea products being exchanged at a high rate. along with various types of tea, I also received an antique silver tea pot and a loose tea brewing mug! As a result my family had been consuming tea at a fast pace. which turns out to be a good idea given a recent study. Along with past opinions and studies) that suggests that drinking tea reduces the risk of certain types of cancer. Tuesday, December 13, 2005.

Sunday, October 30, 2005. Becky and I had the perfect Sunday morning. After waking up without an alarm clock (and sleeping in an extra hour thanks to day-light savings time), we went for a walk down to Starbucks and had chai tea and muffins for breakfast. On the way back we went to whole foods to pick up a few essentials (organic milk and cereal, I simply cannot go to school without my morning cereal! What a beautiful fall day! Especially compared to Jennifer's code book. But last night, as part of the celebration to welcome in the year of the dog (or, as I prefer to think of it, the year of Baotzih. Monday, February 20, 2006. A solution for every problem. I finally made it to "the Container Store" the other day. Given my compulsive desire to organize things, I knew I would love this store. But I never expected to solve the awkward problem of putting the last of my lubriderm lotion (you know that last part that the pump never gets to) into a new bottle - but the container store was able to solve this problem. Saturday, November 26, 2005. How to call India for free. After a 40 minute conversation and some veeeeeerrrrrrryyyyyy schretchy hold music I finally got my schedule changed so that it is physically possible for me to make both the flight out of Sioux Falls and the flight out of Minneapolis. Unfotunatley this means I have to leave Sioux Falls at 8:15 am. When all that was said or done I told the guy on the phone that I just had two more questions for him. Q: Where are you located?
