Musings of an engineer. Beware. Monday, May 30, 2011. Russia Trip May 23-27, 2011. I had my first opportunity to go to Russia this last week. Not Moscow, not St. Petersburg, but Yuzhno on Sakhalin island. The trip was for business, as we went up to Yuzhno for a workshop and then traveled on up to our Onshore Processing Facility (OPF) that is near the top of the island. (Sorry the map is all grainy). Our weekend started on friday with some yard work and some delicious chocolate chip cookies from my friend who just decided i needed some. yes. she's awesome. i tried really hard not to eat them all right then and there because we had big plans to hit up summerfest here in bountiful and eat at the cupbop food truck. korean bbq people. i was excited! We met up with jeremy and chels a few blocks from park where everything was and pushed strollers and walked over. i was starved!

Thursday, November 11, 2010. McKay was a tiger! He loved the costume, but every time I tried to paint his little nose black-he would tip his head back and open his mouth, so he could eat the lipstick! He has this funny smile now-where he scrunches up his nose and squits his eyes-it's pretty cute! Any time he sees the camera, he busts it out! Happy 25th Birthday Josh! I threw him a surprise party in Vegas-it was so good to get together with family and friends and PAR-TAY! Love ya Birthday Boy!

Sunday, August 3, 2014. We had a great last week of July. We celebrated what we now refer to as our Family's Birthday. Our Family turned 10 the year! While the boys were at Father and Sons, Abby and I had our annual girlie night. Isn't this the cutest! Yes Austin is missing one of his lenses). At the end of the week we ditch the kids at Ben's Sister Jen's house and took off to Park city for 2 night! We ended the trip with a beautiful ride up (and down) the Park City Town Lift.

As part of a safety precaution when we are fabricating pipe, we have a hydro test, where we pump water in to the pipe at 1.5 times the operating pressure, to make sure that the pipe will hold up to any problems. Friday, May 20, 2011. Sowe've been MIA online for a while. Little update. Josh FINALLY had a break from school for about 3 weeks. We took a much needed little vacation and spent a week in Vegas. It was so much fun! May is always a busy month for us-it includes my birthday, Mother's Day and our Anniversary (Big Number THREE for us! Wednesday, January 26, 2011. This little boy did not want to take a nap today! We tried two different times and after 30 minutes of him crying (the second time! I finally went in to get him. This is what I found haha. Somehow during his ridiculously huge tantrum/attempting to chew his way out of the crib (hence the still in place-ghetto blankets tied for protection), he had wiggled one of his arms out of his shirt!
