The therapist suggested that I wait about 2 weeks to have my head buzzed. If anyone has suggestions for head 'wraps' please send them along. ;o). In sickness and health. Thursday, June 21, 2012. I saw my Medical Oncologist yesterday and had blood work done. The blood work is OK and the Dr. asked if I am ready to have the port removed rather than continue to go in every 6 weeks for a flush. He sees no need for me to keep it; it can always be implanted again if I should need it in the future. Our friend Lloyd is back in the hospital after knee surgery last week. My friend Bob Kozojet went to the Annual NM Rural Water Association Banquet today and accepted my 'Trainer of the Year' award. He will be coming to visit soon and will bring it. In the meantime, he sent a picture of it. It is my second from them; the first was 14 years ago. Thanks to those of you who read this and have been a part of my career! I'm sure that some of you have seen it before but I know that it is a good refresher for me. I am doing well; we will be attending a wedding on Saturday and I leave for AZ and ABQ next Tuesday, tests a week from Friday. I hope to send a good report after! In sickness and health. Sunday, May 4, 2014. A lot of BED TIME. I have had a lot of 'bed time' since Thursday. I overdid it on Tuesday and Wednesday; had thought I felt so well and was ready to conquer the world. I am feeling more rested today but still in and out of bed. I decided on Friday that I will try to do what my body is telling me. I feel that tomorrow will be much better. I hope everyone is having beautiful weather and enjoying the week-end. My love, prayers, gratitude, and thoughts to everyone!
