One Child At A Time. But her situation does not stop at Tyler. They have just found out that Thomas also carries an identical gene as Tyler which causes severe Migraine headaches that can lead to some very critical moments. Tyler tends to lose oxygen and blood pressure. Thomas just had his first episode and was rushed to the ER but the Migraine Regiment worked very well for Thomas and he was able to come home from the hospital. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). One Child At A Time: Aiden's Radiothon
http://2moms2kids1help.blogspot.com/2010/12/aidens-radiothon.html
One Child At A Time. Sunday, December 5, 2010. Aiden's Radiothon Fundraiser: (If you would like to help Aiden in his mission go to Team Aiden on Facebook and email his Mom Lisa). I have prayed that as God has allowed this, that he would apply a grace over him, stronger than anything his father and I could teach him. Allow him to have a strong sense of peace and most of all let this be used for good, for the Glory of God. Would he he just be immune to the illness since he sees it all the time?

One Child At A Time: Perception is bigger than we think in our Chronically ill kids
http://2moms2kids1help.blogspot.com/2011/04/perception-is-bigger-than-we-think-in.html
One Child At A Time. Thursday, April 7, 2011. Perception is bigger than we think in our Chronically ill kids. 8221; Looking worried he added, “ I’m thinking we should ask for our co-pay back.”. Still other doctors saw Tyler’s focus on his own health care as a cause for concern. “If he could just focus more on being a kid instead of all the medical stuff” was often the suggestion. Of course, how had we missed it? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Perception is bigger than we think in our Chronica.

Its a horrible thing, that moment that you become aware of yourself, that you suddenly realize in a brilliant flash that you are different. It shouldnt be. I wish we could celebrate that moment as a coming of age, with streamers and a cake and hugs all around. Instead we tuck it in to a deep place where we hope no one will notice. You want to walk like a horse? I was pretty young when I did that, and like some of you who perhaps pretended to...

http://2moms2kids1help.blogspot.com/2010/11/little-sweeter-by-kim-avery.html
One Child At A Time. Thursday, November 4, 2010. A little Sweeter by Kim Avery. Life a little sweeter. Posted 2 days ago. Of coarse as you would imagine as a family we do not take health for granted. But I am delighted to realize that beyond that our children seem to have an appreciation and perspective about everyday life that is such a blessing. I got my tube out just in time for you to take my picture and next week I am having surgery to get my stint out. Isn’t that wonderful? But there it was. Gr...

Or did you roll over and pull the covers up to your ears, clenching your eyes tightly shut in hopes of getting back to whatever fantastic dream you were having. Maybe little voices, or even little feet and elbows, woke you up. The sunlight creeping between the slats in the blinds. The list of things to do that began rolling around in your head. This morn...

I own it. After all, I lived through my own junior high years and I know just how supremely uncool I can be. Can a girl with enormous tinted glasses and a bad spiral perm ever truly rebound? By the way, I think there is a scientific formula that shows that your cool factor is inversely proportional to how hard you.
