2010 Whistler Winter Olympics. Saturday, February 27, 2010. Day 22, 23 and 24. Au revoir. Believe it or not my Olympic Journey is over. For me it was the journey of my life that I will never forget and I feel so fortunate to have been a part of the 2010 Olympics. By the way, I was the oldest on my team but there were a few not too many years behind. I was in the Steamwhistle Brewery having a glass of wine, when Joanie Rochette won her bronze medal. People were cheering and crying at the same time.

2010 Whistler Winter Olympics. Saturday, February 13, 2010. Day 10 - Whistler Weather! If you live here or if you have been to Whistler, you would not be surprised by the weather. The rain that fell during the Opening Ceremonies in Vancouver was snow in the mountains. At 4am this morning, today's race was cancelled and if you didn't call the hot line, you did not know until you arrived at 6am. I didn't call the hot line! Friday, February 12, 2010. Day 9 - Opening Ceremonies. It will be an interesting day!

2010 Whistler Winter Olympics. Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Continuation of Day 21. Moxie, the dog, who now thinks I am one of the family. Raymond, the student from Switzerland. I treated the family to dinner at an incredibly good Organic Flatbread Pizza place called Creekbread. Jeff, Patricia, me, Raymond, Lucas and Sabrina. This is the start of the Giant Slalom for the men that was the last race I worked on. There is just one more Men's race left and it is on Saturday. Day 22, 23 and 24. Au revoir.

2010 Whistler Winter Olympics. Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Wed Day 21, A really easy day. When I checked out I got my last Olympic gift which is based on the number of days you worked. I have received a silver medal (volunteer style), a silver plated key chain, gloves to match our uniforms, pins and a huge Olympic Swatch Watch.
