BBQ Across the USA. Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Franklins BBQ- Austin, TX. PRE-WARNING- Come at least an hour - 2 hours before opening at 11. I got there at 10 and still didn't get my food until 1:00. BBQ Across the USA. Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Clarks Outpost- Tioga, TX. Today I went to Clark's Outpost in Tioga, Texas, an hour north of Dallas. I ordered the ribs, beef, and their famous fried corn. The beef was relatively dry, but the ribs were high quality. The seasoning on them was as good as you can get anywhere.
