I thank God for blessing me with the opportunity to play that day and hum a tune from the Christian cd I was listening to in the car. The sky is so blue and the birds chatter is peaceful and calming. We reach my ball. Wait, what is this? My ball has found its way behind a tree and is nestled in between two protruding roots. Well (expletive)! Are ahead if we allow God to direct our actions and our thoughts daily.

A Sheeps' Trail. My path to happiness. January 11, 2017. Actually a cold day. School buses don’t run when the windchill is below -40. This morning we are -45. Brrrr. I called last week, having received the bill, to tell them the furnace wasn’t fixed–it was still all in pieces. I had just assumed they were waiting for a part. The man who answered sounded very bored and disinterested. He said he would check into it and call back. Now another week later I’m still waiting. Things that go bump in the night.
