Gandaki - IESE MBA 2007's blogs. From the Himalayas, to the Mediterranean, to cold and rainy London, and now to Dubai. Wednesday, November 30, 2005. Empty water bottles everywhere. Most of the trash bins in IESE have lots of empty water bottles at the end of a day. Since most of them have lids open, it is not hard not to notice the empty bottles. Is this a problem? How can it be solved? Posted by IESE MBA 2007 @ 11:42 PM 1 comments. Sunday, November 27, 2005. My camera slapped me on my face. I am attachi...

I am not annoyed by it, I just found it strange. In the US and Nepal, I never had to do that. Posted by IESE MBA 2007 @ 9:25 PM 0 comments. We were able to f...

So future 1st years, don t have high expectations on a cocktail reception sponsored by a big name company. In Spain, you don t say Coke, it means something else. Always say "cocacola". :). Gandaki - IESE MBA 2007's blogs. From the Himalayas, to the Mediterranean, to cold and rainy London, and now to Dubai. Friday, January 27, 2006. Why waste so much paper? Does it look nice? The rational behind wasting these sheets, I was told, is to make the tray look nice and keep the tray clean if you spill something on it. But guess what, the trays are washed in the dishwasher anyway, so whats the problem if it spills on the paper or on the tray itself? I don't use those sheets myself, ( it would make ...

IESE Class of 2008
http://stereoscopy.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Jueves, agosto 31, 2006. Now that I've been in BCN / Barca / Barcelona / the capital of the republic of Catalunya for a week, I feel competent enough to release a list of words/concepts that people mostly hear while in Barcelona. Mainly talks about the beach. I could go into in-depth details of how good it is, but imagine blue waters and a women's locker room in a gym. You'll get the idea. Government approved place to get ripped off. Also known to be one of the largest chain of shopping centres in Ba...

IESE Class of 2008
http://stereoscopy.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Viernes, febrero 10, 2006. I've just been told (rather rudely, might I add) that I'm not gigolo-material (for women only). There goes my internship idea. Posted by Ashwyn at 7:54 p. m. Anyways, for the people interested, I've put in my papers. It's a little too soon, but this is my notice period and my last day is actually well into April. I realise April itself is too soon, considering the course (do I talk about anything else lately? Starts in September, but -. Everything's hunky dory. I'm out as p...
