Friday, July 20, 2012. The Blessings During the Storm. Four days after I pledged to revive our blog, Dennis was admitted into the hospital. And we've been here ever since. That was 11 days ago. The morning that we left the house to admit him to the hospital, he hit another milestone: 100 pounds lost with the help of the lapband. That evening his doctor called: report to the hospital tomorrow to be admitted. I freaked out, I begged for a different option. It was too much to handle. Surely not a week.
