Friday, November 21, 2008. So last week we had some snow! I love the first snow of the year- especially in Colorado. It is a beautiful blanket, causes no traffic problems and is gone by noon! Who wouldn't love it? The snow here is typically so dry that we can't make snowmen. But this was nice wet goopy stuff and smashed well into the fascinating figure of Frosty. We had this great snowman kit, courtesy of Aunt Marta and we loved our snowman! And as for frosty. Had to hurry on his way. But he waved goodbye.

Everyone knows that leprachauns value their gold more than their lives, so we knew he would return soon to retrieve his prize. Being cunning creatures we are, we set a trap devised of a hand-drawn net and some popsicle sticks! Saturday, May 9, 2009. Well, it is birthday season here! We have done nothing but party since last weekend! Today was the final jewel in the tiara- we had her birthday party complete with a visit from Cinderella! She is a busy lady but she did have time to stop by, paint faces, lead a parade, read a story, pass out some treasure and then leave in her magical carriage for the Mother's Day ball!
