Thursday, May 10, 2007. FO: Sea Silk Tuscany. Last I blocked my Sea Silk Tuscany Shawl. When I woke up this morning it was all dry. I immediately unpinned it so my kids wouldn't play with the pins and I tried the shawl on. I extremely happy with how the shawl knitted up and blocked. Here are some details of the shawl. Pattern: Tuscany from No Sheep for You. Yarn: Handmaiden Sea Silk. 1 full skein and 1/4 of second skein) in the Paris color. Needles: new Addi Lace Needles size 6US. You did a great job!

Thursday, August 02, 2007. Today I finished up knitting Fifi. Here are the details. Pattern: French Girl's Fifi. 4 full balls and a tiny bit from a 5 th. Ball for one sleeve). For the body and size 6 dpns. Modifications: I made the length of the body longer by 4 or 5 inches. Also, I didn't want cap sleeves as in the pattern. So I knitted the cable pattern 2 or 3 more times to make the sleeves longer. Abby, very nice! That looks so fantastic on you! I won't see you tonight but hopefully next week ;o).

Wednesday, May 16, 2007. Ballband, Absorba, Ariann sleeve, and SP10. Over the weekend I did a little Mason Dixon Knitting. First I made a ballband dishcloth. I kept knitting the dishcloth until I ran out of the variegated yarn - "Gumdrop" from Peaches and Creme. The orange yarn is Sugar'n Cream's "Pumpkin." Second, I knitted a Absorba Bathmat from the Mason Dixon book. I used 3 strands held togetherof Sugar and Cream in the "Natural Ombre" color to knit it and size 13 needles. Make your own badge here.
