Random thoughts as I meander through various endeavors. Friday, March 30, 2012. Yesterday I visited the small Farmer's Market in Cape Canaveral. It is a small market - but beautiful produce, plants, prepared foods and even other arts and crafts vendors. Mouth watering colors and flavors! Cant wait to go! Saturday, March 31, 2012. Random thoughts as I meander through various endeavors. Sunday, January 22, 2012. My daughter, also my friend. We've all seen the T-shirts. posters and pillows with that sentiment on them. I am so happy and proud to wish a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! To DEB. She is indeed my friend and also my daughter. We share a love of the beach. Our traditional Mother's Day - our feet in the sand. We also share a love of "making stuff". Maybe art, maybe just a big mess! Next week she is coming for a visit! Links to this post.

Random thoughts as I meander through various endeavors. Thursday, December 30, 2010. Like I needed a new addiction! They are little sponge replacements, scrubby things - to washie your dishie! Actually they seem to be of Japanese origin. Made from acrylic yarn, they are quick to make, great to use. Sunday, January 10, 2010. Trip to Florida Keys. Ust took a trip to the Florida Keys. I got a great rate on this very nice resort hotel. I flew in to Ft. Lauderdale. By the time I got into the Keys, it was already dark. I stopped at a Mexican restaurant where they gave you a free cotton candy after your meal. Since I don't really like cotton candy, I made this face. On Wednesday, I toured parks and nature centers and took a walk on an old bridge preserved as a pedestrian/bike trail. Back home on Friday...

Sunday, August 22, 2010. Western New York State - September 2009. In September, 2009, I went to Syracuse to an American Idol concert. I planned for a week's stay and did not plan for the remainder of the trip until about 2 weeks prior. Then I started looking at the western part of the state on the New York tourism website.
