Cycling El Camino de Santiago. A woman, a bike and her story…. El Camino De Santiago. June 1, 2010. Week two of training already! I am not sure I feel any fitter yet. Perhaps the fact that my body feels a lot older and my bottom a lot more bruised is not helping! Well this was no little ride around! It was so much fun! I felt pain in my legs I did not know was possible and looked like I had been dragged through a bush backwards, but I think I have certainly found what I love. Mud! So here he is! This kin...

Cycling El Camino de Santiago. A woman, a bike and her story…. El Camino De Santiago. May 24, 2010. The little things sometimes matter more. After amazing sunshine in the UK we were invited to a good friend of mine I have known for many years, birthday party. It was so lovely to see him and his better half but I got so much more out of his party I did not expect. Once again I was met with faces of, “You are out of your mind! The smallest things are sometimes the most valuable! Laquo; It’s real! Enter you...

Cycling El Camino de Santiago. A woman, a bike and her story…. El Camino De Santiago. May 24, 2010. After a busy day at work and with temperatures that would melt tarmac, I have been excited all day to go for a ride on “the bike” and try out some of the cycle thingies I bought the other day. I decided to cycle to a little village near by, as it has a lot of up and down and thought it would be relatively easy in this heat. How wrong was I? The sunglasses were fantastic! 1 x very bruised bottom…check.

Cycling El Camino de Santiago. A woman, a bike and her story…. El Camino De Santiago. May 19, 2010. Decisions, decisions, decisions! The biggest problem I am finding is, there is so much of an overload of information out there about the subject that’s it’s so overwhelming. Everyone has a different opinion and different experience, that it so difficult to figure out which is the best and safest way to do this. If you don’t know what that is, it’s probably for the best really. The cream and...So i toddled ...

About Me | Cycling El Camino de Santiago
https://cyclecamino.wordpress.com/about
Cycling El Camino de Santiago. A woman, a bike and her story…. El Camino De Santiago. So this is me! There is one difference to me though…. I have a burning desire, passion, sense of adventure that I have never been able to explain. Some say I am short of a few smarties to make a whole box, others are inspired by me but most just accept it and love me, or fight it and stay away from me. Either way, I am me and it is what it is! I have asked myself and you may be wondering too, WHY AM I DOING THIS! Your p...

Cycling El Camino de Santiago. A woman, a bike and her story…. El Camino De Santiago. May 27, 2010. The “big train” has begun. What a crazy few days I have had this week. I have had so much support and encouragement to do this cycle trip that I have had a few girly moments of tears of happiness. But, worry not! I have never had to put a chain back on in my life, so it was, well, interesting! It swings around like crazy while you jump around like a loon trying to catch it without getting drenched. Wel...

http://treehuggersresolution.blogspot.com/2010/03/barefoote-bliss.html
A sun dappled patch of my life where my thoughts and sentiments may dance bare footed and my journey to health and happiness gathers inspiration. Treading gently and leaving only 'foote' prints, my testimony to living and loving harmoniously with the earth. A blog by Tammy Foote. Monday, 29 March 2010. I apologize most sincerely for neglecting my little blog spot , but it has been a very busy month! So after much toiling (mostly on the part of my extremely generous and patient husband). Is up and running!

Cycling El Camino de Santiago. A woman, a bike and her story…. El Camino De Santiago. May 21, 2010. Today was a strange and scary day. I woke up feeling very apprehensive about doing this cycle and thinking about all the things they could go wrong. Why on earth would I want to go and cycle over 400km in two weeks when I could be sitting in the sun with my family enjoying the only two weeks of sun we have here in the UK? Laquo; Decision made! The little things sometimes matter more. One tip that may help&...
