barefootgirl quilts: November 2009
http://barefootgirlquilts.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Barefootgirl sitting on the hood of a dodge drinking warm beer in the soft summer rain. Bruce. Monday, November 9, 2009. Here is the quilt top that I am making for my 8- yr- old niece for Christmas. I have made it entirely of scraps from my 'stash'. Many of the fabrics that I used are leftovers from things that I've already made her . eg: curtains, pillows, fleece throw. etc. It may be a bit loud, but I think that she will love it! Barefootgirl sitting on the hood of a dodge drinking warm beer in the soft summer rain. Bruce. Friday, July 23, 2010. Update on my hexagons :). I've been spending alot of time, post-surgery, on the couch recovering, watching Food Network and working on these babies. This one was my first. And my second. I love the sailboats in the 2nd fabric of this one. Here's on in some cheery summertime blue! I've actually finished this since uploading the picture, so I'll have that one and one more to post very soon.

Barefootgirl sitting on the hood of a dodge drinking warm beer in the soft summer rain. Bruce. Thursday, January 28, 2010. For the last few years, I have, with thousands of other people, have walked 39.3 miles in 2 days in the hopes that we will someday find a cure for breast cancer. The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. To help fund my walk, I am going to make a quilt to raffle. I made one last year, all in pink. And although I had great response with it, many thought that it was a baby quilt. I'm a New Engl...

https://avalanden.wordpress.com/2010-quilt-along
Ava Landen: Modern Quilting. Start the New Year with a fabulous new quilt! We’ll be completing a jelly roll friendly, stash-busting, scrap happy brick quilt. I know for some avid quilters this is wellsimple. And you’re right I was going for simplicity since this will be my first online quilt tutorial. Not to mention, quilting is not my full time job (yet) and I wanted to show others that it’s possible to create a beautiful quilt within 30 days and still fulfill life’s other obligations. Jan 2: Cut fabric.

A silly little blog about Scott and Michelles first ever CSA and recipes that weve made ♥. Wednesday, June 23, 2010. One of the many things that Scott and I were excited about with joining the CSA was trying foods that were new to us. Last week we had the garlic scapes and kohlrabi. this week we had escarole! I forgot to take a picture of how beautiful the 2 heads of escarole were before I cooked them. I'm hoping for more in this week's share so that I can add a picture. Told us that it can be bitter.

http://ourfirstcsa.blogspot.com/2010/08/just-for-fun.html
A silly little blog about Scott and Michelles first ever CSA and recipes that weve made ♥. Wednesday, August 25, 2010. I thought that I would share some photos of my veggie garden. It's not much, but I do love it. My morning glorys were sad this morning :(. I have lots of weeds. I've spent my life trying to get rid of them, but I've recently decided that they aren't all that bad. I do pull them, but overall, if they are growing in my garden it's because my garden is a fun place to grow!

barefootgladiator – Business, humanity, travel, and bare feet
Business, humanity, travel, and bare feet. Barefoot in Vegas: Plastic stones. Yeah, the concrete heats up, says J, my travel buddy for Las Vegas, when I mentioned that barefoot only works indoors or at night. It’s not concrete. It’s plastic, I answer. The stones beneath my feet are plastic. Plastic heats up more than rock. When yo have bare feet, you can feel the composition of concrete. There’s some confusion between heaven and hell here in Vegas. Vegas is the perfect place for the Licensing Expo. One o...
