swimming in brine: embroidered quilt label tutorial.
http://swimminginbrine.blogspot.com/2013/07/quilt-label-tutorial.html
Musings of a thoroughly modern pickel. Embroidered quilt label tutorial. I believe every quilt should have a label. why? Because, by nature, quilts are family treasures that are passed down through the generations. one hundred years from now, the owner of your quilt will be wondering about its history. some folks think there are different ways to make a quilt label, but in my world, there is only one. Right way. hand embroidered. Label plan: see step 1. This one is not made for fabric, but i love it).

Got Craft Blog: crafts for the animals
http://blog.gotcraft.com/2011/04/crafts-for-animals.html
Crafts for the animals. Last year, my friends Kim and Lisa decided to take a girls trip and fly to Las Vegas where they picked up a rental car and drove to southwest Utah. There, they spent a few days voluntering at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. The largest no-kill animal shelter in the United States. From the pictures they posted on twitter and facebook, this place not only touched their hearts, but it also inspired them to launch the crafts for the animal campaign. The For the Animals! Crafts for ...

Efflorescence: January 2010
http://stellasefflorescence.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 18, 2010. We had the day off from school today for Martin Luther King Day and we got an extra bonus of a snow storm! Through out the day we got almost a foot of snow, I think. I was able to get the bird feeders out and filled prior to the storm, so we will be on the look out for appreciative birds. Stella and Jackson got to spend almost the entire day sledding together! They thought that was fantastic. Then it was off to the hill where they went down the in the saucer! They had so much fun.

Efflorescence: Spring on the Farm
http://stellasefflorescence.blogspot.com/2013/05/spring-on-farm.html
Thursday, May 9, 2013. Spring on the Farm. The sun has been getting warmer and warmer, which means that we are airing out the house, spring cleaning like mad, and living outside as much as possible. Mom has been coming round just about every weekend to help me out, which I love, love, love! We have some fun plans that are still to come to fruition too. I really look forward to the weekends. We certainly have more mouths to feed so it won't be a bad thing. We have our meals out on the picnic table, they p...

http://stellasefflorescence.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 14, 2013. Today will be a good day. 2 and a half months! The babies are growing like sweet little weeds! River is over 10 lbs already and Wren is close behind with 9 lbs and they are a moving and a shaking! Wren is bound to be rolling over soon, she loves to kick her feet and flail her arms and when she's laying on her back she attempts back bends! River loves to do push ups, he is so strong and has come so far from the small little baby in the "box" in the NICU! Two babies is hard! I was...

Efflorescence: August 2013
http://stellasefflorescence.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 20, 2013. A Moment Not to Forget. I had been basking in the glow of getting more rest with Wren sleeping through the night the last week, I had been in awe of how much the babies are doing-Wren pulling herself up, River crawling so fast, both sitting and playing together and with me. I had been feeling so glad that all their teeth had made their way in (8 each! I had been feeling pretty cool actually, that my babies are so amazing, easy and happy. Was it that another tooth was coming?

Sunday, April 7, 2013. 3 months have gone by.wait, what? April has finally come and the weather has indeed broken. I raked out the gardens the other day to find that many of the plants that I brought with me from the old farm were going to make it! Efflorescence: Summer Heat
http://stellasefflorescence.blogspot.com/2013/07/summer-heat.html
Thursday, July 18, 2013. Well, summer is certainly upon us! We have had so many over 90 degree days and are constantly searching for ways to stay cool. What if I don't spot my friends in the crowd right away? Silly, silly. Now, my biggest obstacle actually is two squirrely 6 month olds! I got sick as well and so it was a rough time! Wren has been crawling commando style for about a month, but she is now on her hands and knees crawling, but it if takes too long she will just roll to where she wants to go&...
