Bohol’s neighbouring island, Cebu, has an international airport with budget flights from most Asian destinations. It can be a great alternative to Manila when coming to Bohol from overseas. There are a lot of different languages spoken in the Philippines although "Filipino" (or Tagalog) is spoken everywhere, as is English. But the language spoken in Bohol is a dialect of "Visaya", which is used throughout the Visayas region (stangely enough!
