Saturday, April 23, 2011. The more I think about it, the more I want to move back to the country side. Make no mistake - I love the city life - my friends, my favorite bars, clubs, restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries and all the fantastically odd hipsters on Kloof Street. But I will always stay a farm boy at heart. Fantastic days like this make me happy: beautiful weather, delicious food, great company. Happiness! Posted by Sam van Straaten. Sam van Straaten: Experimental Typography | Anatomical Awesomeness
http://samvanstraaten.blogspot.com/2010/09/experimental-typography-anatomical.html
Wednesday, September 15, 2010. Experimental Typography Anatomical Awesomeness. Of all the achievements of the human mind, the birth of the alphabet is the most momentous. Letters, like men, have now an ancestry, and the ancestry of words, as of men, is often a very noble possession, making them capable of great things. Indeed, it has been said that the invention of writing is more important than all the victories ever won or constitutions devised by man. Visuals by Andreas Scheiger. This site has been vi...
