Getting Started with Fermentation. Classes & Events. Wild and Lazy Fermentation. Phickle Ferments on Friday Arts. June 6, 2016. I’m so excited to share this with you! Over the past few months, I’ve had the pleasure of being filmed (a lot) by the incredible producer Monica Rogozinski and her crack team for the AMAZING WHYY show. I’ve been a huge fan of. Since my friend, the inimitable Madame Fromage. Was featured early last year. These people really know their stuff, and I really dig how it turned out.

City, State, Zip. Your Custom Text Here. 5 Eateries on Our 2017 Wishlist. January 6, 2017. In case 2016 wasn't crazy enough, I'm embarrassed to admit that I only made it to a single restaurant on my 2016 wishlist. I ate at new restaurants what seemed like multiple times a week, yet I still missed out on a few essential LA dining experiences (Otium, n/naka, Jon and Vinny's, Trois Familia, Maude, and Sushi Tsujita). Can you believe that? 1 Here's Looking At You, KTown. Image via Here's Looking At You.

Yesterday I woke up craving capirotada. I remembered the days when my grandma made it for me. She was the one who taught me how to cook it. Capirotada is a traditional Mexican dessert. It is really easy to make and what I like the most is that even when it is a dessert it is also kind of savory. 1 qt of water. 4 piloncillo (brown sugar cane) you can get it at Mexican stores and also here. 4 large bolillos rolls (you can use french baguette too) cut into slices. 1 stick of butter. 1 cup of shredded coconut.
