Can hotel arrangements be made onsite? Yeah, but El Tunco fills up on the weekends and you might end up staying at the big and ugly Hotel Roca Sunzal. Prefer to leave your boards at home? There are a few surfshops in El Tunco to rent your board. Most boards available are shortboards. There are plenty of taxis at the airport. Its a 40 minute ride that should cost around $35-$40 USD. Fair Prices as of 2014. These figures should help you put your traveling budget together:. Half day guided surfing tours: $60. Full day guided surfing tour: $100. It is a good idea to keep your group at less than 3 people. This way you'll all fit comfortably in your guide's truck.
