Mike and I have been planning our retirement for many years. One of our dreams was to live and travel the United States in our Motorhome. It came true the end of Dec. 2007. Mike is 64 and I'm younger. We travel with our cats Stormy, better known as Evil Kitty and Lucy a new addition in 2011. Lucy is known as the good kitty. We could not imagin living any where but in our MH. After almost 5 years on the road we enjoy it as much as when we started.

Saturday, January 5, 2013. Back in Apache Junction AZ. We pulled into the RV park here in AJ the 3rd of Nov, it was so nice to get off the road. . We loved our trip to Alaska and Canada and the west coast. We did so much and saw so many beautiful sights, it was like a dream. Would we do it again, not so sure, 7 months on the road was a long time, I was ready to settle down and just enjoy life for awhile. We traveled almost 12,000 miles just in the MH. Monday, August 27, 2012. August 13th –17th 2012. Skagway is the oldest incorporated city in Alaska. Another city that started up because of the Klondike gold rush. Today tourism is the main economy in Skagway, if you need a T-shirt this is the place to go. Every day there is 3-5 cruise ships in port, they arrive in the evening and leave the following evening making room for the next ship. Views as we are entering Skagway. We have had snow in the Superstition Mountains, but never in our own back yard. Mike may have to buy a snow shovel or move the motorhome. Actually it was sleet, but it was white and cold.
