The last couple months have been filled, stuffed to the gills with beautiful time outside. I've gotten so many rides in awesome weather with great friends, started running again (little steps, short distances, no whammies! Knock-on-wood keeping myself in the black at work.

It's a public-radio station out of Seattle that may be the single best source of new music inspiration I've ever found. Obviously, I don't "tune in" on the hi-fi or even the Bose. But for quite a long time when I discovered this station, I streamed the feed while I worked, All-KEXP, all-day. And I discovered, if nothing else, Ratatat. And The Black Angels.

We had a GREAT interview - lots of common ground found in the claims and I think we'll be a lot closer to an allowable application when it's all put together. As we were walking out, I went to shake Miss A's hand, and was left disappointed. I got the hand-half-bent-at-the-knuckle, palm-facing-mostly-down, barely-a-handshake that, for some reason, passes as a professional handshake these days. So if you're gonna shake, do it with some gusto.
