The children had a fun morning taking part in the fitness challenge and listening to Bex Wilson’s inspirational journey to becoming an Olympic athlete. The children raised 551 altogether, 400 towards supporting unsponsored athletes and 151 for school. Keep a look out for Bex in the Womens’ Rugby Team during the Olympic Games in Brazil in 2016.

This year’s very special Remembrance Day, the 100th year anniversary of the beginning of World War 1, The Great War, was commemorated by the children with our own Remembrance Day service, complete with ceramic poppies (Barton-style) made with love by the children. Otting of dead bodies. Ittle feet crawling everywhere. Ce cold from frostbite. Darkness came I am alone. Are we going to survive?
