Saturday, December 15, 2012. A Day of Tears. Yesterday was a hard day for me. It was my mother's birthday. She would have been 90. After more than 20 years I still miss her. I went to the cemetery with my dad where he too shed some tears and told me it doesn't get any easier and he has been thinking about her a lot lately. Sunday, October 14, 2012. April/May - I "injured" my knee (the "good" one). I was training for another 1/2 marathon walk when my knee began to hurt. Suddenly something felt like it popped and then I couldn't put my weight on it. Thru a long process I finally had an MRI which showed a "big" tear in the meniscus. Have fun. always. Monday, October 8, 2012. So, sadly, summer is over. I had such a great experience this year. It's been so much fun to get to do so many new things and meet different people. I did so many things that I never thought I would, and I absolutely loved it! There's so many things that I want to tell you! However, words can be so boring.so here are some pics! Have fun. always. Saturday, December 26, 2009. It's been a little while since I had a post.so here's what's been going on! Firstcontinuing with the 5k's.not me but Amy and Sarah ran a Halloween 5k where people dressed up. It was so fun to see some of the costumes people had on in the freezing cold and some that they couldn't really run in but made it through with! After they finished :). Traffic Cone costume group! Before the race with their glowstick headbands. They ran through this cemetary.eeeek!
