Wednesday, May 06, 2009. We got a signed contract to sell our house yesterday! We're not getting as much as we had hoped, but we're not losing anything, either. We'll finally be done with it! This is such a relief. Last night Jim and I went on our weekly "date". We walk the trash can out to the road together each Tuesday night and talk and hold hands and stuff. Ok, I finally caved and bought pants that are a size larger than I want them to be. Oh, who am I kidding? They're 4 sizes larger than I want them to be, but in this instance I'm referring to the fact that they're a size larger than I've ever worn before. And that makes me sad. But, they feel sooooo good! I pulled into our driveway at noon today for lunch and saw my rough edged, hardnosed badass husband running and laughing in the trees and shrubs that line our driveway. I looked closer and saw Allie ducking behind a bush, laughing. Another glance showed me Peyton and my niece Tilly laughing and running and ducking as well.
