Through a Seattle Looking Glass. And what Ashley found there…. My ratings are as follows:. I didn’t like the book, wasn’t able to finish it or if I did finish it, the book just wasn’t for me. Doesn’t mean it’s not something I’d recommend but personally I am not a fan. I didn’t particular enjoy the book but felt that there were aspects that make it enjoyable for others. If I didn’t connect with the book it wouldn’t stop me from recommending it to audiences and markets that would. Get it and read it now!

Through a Seattle Looking Glass. And what Ashley found there…. My 30 Day Book Challenge 2012. I love the idea of a book challenge. I’m setting two personal book challenges for 2013. I’m allowing for books published any year (not just in 2013) to widen the net for the difficult letters. Want to join me? S – Slated by T...

This year I was fortunate enough to visit the amazing Powell’s bookstore. The flagship store is based in Portland, Oregon. There are almost no words to describe a visit to this brilliant bookstore. These are how their columns are decorated outside of the building. Inside it is nothing but pure, almost endless, book heaven. This e...

October 12, 2015. The Taming of the Queen. Hope that everyone is well out there. I recently got my flu shot, but there is some nasty sinus stuff going around out there. I have been busy sewing up a storm. I am making Xmas gifts: patchwork placemats, throws and a civil war quilt for the hubby. Next project is learning how to machine quilt all this patchwork stuff! I purchased this for my Kindle Fire. It went really fast for me. I read it in a few days. It makes for an interesting story though. You are com...

In Which I Judge My Own Writing. The newer films will be on this as well, though the older ones are priorities. I’ve rewatched the ones in bold. Italicized means I’ve never seen it. Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Beauty and the Beast. The only live action that will probably make it on this list. I just love it too much not to rewatch it). The Emperor’s New Groove. The Fox and the Hound. The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Lady and the Tramp. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. The Princess and the Frog. That so...
