Monday, June 8, 2009. Why Duck and Cover in the Basement When You Can Chase It? This tornado was close. (Pictures from our deck). This is yesterday's tornado that went through our area and touched down at Southlands Mall. We watched the storm cell move in, saw the funnel cloud form, and watched the tornado as it went by. I know.so crazy, but I really want this to start being our Thanksgiving tradition (can't wait for you to come and do it with us! So we headed out of the house at 6:15 so we could drop Alivia off at the Rowberry's! He was like a rocket out there!
