Father’s Day weekend | Basic Brandy
https://basicbrandy.wordpress.com/2015/06/22/fathers-day-weekend
Keeping it real. Real Basic. Races and PR’s. Father’s Day weekend. Father’s Day weekend. June 22, 2015. And just like that, it’s Monday already. The weekends are so short and go by way too fast! Saturday morning Brian had tennis and as I mentioned, did something to his foot. He isn’t sure if he just landed on it strange or what but its tender and its best for him not to run on it until it feels better. I got to test out my new running skirt from Road Runner Sports, and balega socks which I had never tried.

We are not home decorators and have NO renovation experience. We are attempting to update the house little by little on our own or with help from family and friends. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Keeping it real. Real Basic. Races and PR’s. Back at it: Week in review. Back at it: Week in review. June 17, 2015. June 17, 2015. It’s been a while since I posted here but that tends to be what happens when I stop running. My day to day life is not that exciting when I’m stuck in a cubicle for at least 9 hours a day. Last week we both agreed enough was enough. We missed running and have both gained some weight that we aren’t happy about. 29:21 with an average of 13:03. Better, but what made this run...

Keeping it real. Real Basic. Races and PR’s. And lofty goals ). And lofty goals ). April 20, 2015. Qualifying for Boston is something I will probably never do, or at least not any time soon. I don’t see a 3:40 marathon in my near future that’s for sure! I also don’t see myself running for charity. Not because I think badly on that, just that I am not a great fundraiser. I really don’t even know where to start to raise that sort of cash! I love watching marathons on TV. As cheesy as it sounds, it. You are...

Read Write. W(h)ine. Bumpdate: She’s here! July 31, 2015. Nine weeks ago the little munchkin was all ready to make an appearance and now, not so much. I’m still having sporadic contractions every day (Braxton Hicks, as well as some more painful ones), as well as some other really gross labor symptoms I’ll spare you the details of, and s/he is SUPER low and in position, but still nothing. All they were going to do was give me pain meds and wait for it to pass on its own. August 2, 2015 at 4:23 pm. You are...

Read Write. W(h)ine. When in Doubt, Call Your OB. June 4, 2015. Note to self: Google a list of questions for pediatricians. Also, I’m finding that eating even the smallest amount of food makes me feel absolutely stuffed for hours. I ate a yogurt for breakfast yesterday morning and you would think I ate an entire Thanksgiving dinner single-handedly. I’m currently reading Jonathan Tropper’s. This Is Where I Leave You. 2 thoughts on “ Bumpdate: 31 Weeks! June 5, 2015 at 2:15 am. It was kind of awkward.

Read Write. W(h)ine. Bumpdate: 35 Weeks →. June 12, 2015. We made it to 32 weeks! I’m actually 32 weeks 2 days now, but I wanted to wait and do this update after my doctor’s appointment last night. I couldn’t find my usual “bumpdate shirt” and I had to take the photo with the self-timer because hubby was stuck late at work. Humongous and maybe she should double-check her measurements, LOL! 2 thoughts on “ Bumpdate: 32 weeks! June 13, 2015 at 8:46 pm. Keep growing, little one. Keep resting and relaxing!

Read Write. W(h)ine. Christina and I grew up together and were both best friends and sisters. She broke her neck in a diving accident in June 2005 which left her paralyzed from the chest down. She had no functional movement and required assistance for every single task, from getting dressed in the morning, to going to the bathroom, to eating, to scratching an itch. She lost all freedom and independence in an instant. She frequently wrote about her thoughts and feelings in her blog. Or Barnes and Noble.

Read Write. W(h)ine. Remain two of my all-time favorite books to this day). As an adult, my favorite author is Joshilyn Jackson. 8211; she writes what might be classified as Southern fiction, and since the culture of the South always piqued my interest, I find myself lost in her stories. I highly. To keep reading because you care about the characters and need. To know that they’re OK. I’m currently trying to get through some more classical literature. I tried reading. Read Write. W(h)ine. Five on Friday: My Baby Faves. February 26, 2016. When I was pregnant, I spent countless hours asking my friends what I needed for the baby and scouring Lucie’s List. And Amazon for reviews on cribs, strollers, jumperoos, baby bathtubs, the works! I’ve learned mostly through trial and error what works for us and what doesn’t, but I thought I’d share some of my personal “must haves” for a first time mom. Fisher Price Sit-Me-Up Floor Seat. Boon Grass Drying Rack. Sit me up chair. So, I...

Read Write. W(h)ine. July 2, 2015. Baby is still measuring small, but the doctors seem to think it’s because I’m tall (? And some people just make small babies. S/he is still having a dance party in there every night, my ultrasounds look good, and his/her heartbeat is normal. Side of things, but at least my youngest niece will approve. She has told us numerous times that we should name the baby, boy or girl, Elsa. I’ve been trying to read more and have breezed through the following:. 8212; This was excel...

I’ve been a little busy and haven’t had time to update, but my little peanut arrived on August 3rd at 3:54pm! She was 6 lbs 10 oz and 19.5 inches long and, well, perfect. Hubby and I are very private so we won’t be sharing any personal details or photos, but I am happy to discuss pregnancy/labor/delivery/newborn stuff once I can find some time to sit down and write. Read Write. W(h)ine. We’ve stayed off-property (once), at Pop Century (7 times), at Port Orleans Riverside (once), and at the Polynesian (twice, plus a one-night splurge in 2009). In 2010, we did a split stay between the Holiday Inn Downtown Disney and Pop. During our two most recent trips, we stayed club level at the Poly and I don’t think we’ll ever be able to stay anywhere else! I was even a Disney Vacation Specialist for a little while (graduated from the Disney College of Knowledge and everything!
My Mom | Read. Write. W(h)ine.
https://readwritewine.wordpress.com/my-mom
Read Write. W(h)ine. My mom passed away November 17, 2010 due to lung cancer and various complications. She was diagnosed in June of that year, and went through one round of chemo and two rounds of radiation. She tried her hardest and put up an admirable fight, but unfortunately it was a losing battle. Everyone says their mom is the best, but my mom truly was. I’ve always looked up to her, but do so now more than ever. I hope to be even half the woman and mother she was. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

I’ve thought long and hard about whether I would or should re-post this article on my own website or leave it buried in Google’s depths, a humiliating relic that would reveal itself only to someone potentially as obsessed with me as I am with myself (or, more realistically, just a potential employer looking me up). The simple, no bullshit approach to getting lean and massive. Theory: DAA on Cycle. On Sunday, May 15, 2011. D-aspartic acid (DAA) is one of the hottest supplements currently in the testosterone booster category, and for good reason. A study was conducted in Italy on a few dozen men, each ingesting a dose of 3.1 grams of this amino acid daily. By the twelfth day, testosterone had risen by 42% in the majority of participants. Again this is all theory, so just use it as food for thought. What if I said i h...
