The Adventures of Basil. A cute monster growing up. Friday, November 27, 2009. For Basil's first Thanksgiving, she wanted to have a holiday adventure fit for a monster. Since she was away from home, Basil decided to look up things to do in Louisiana. Before she could find something magical and monstrous to do, she was flung back in time! She saw Sir William and Sir Victor joust! After the battle, she met the victor - Sir Victor! Let's just say the poor monster had a little too much to drink!

Since she was away from home, Basil decided to look up things to do in Louisiana. Before she could find something magical and monstrous to do, she was flung back in time! The Adventures of Basil. A cute monster growing up. Thursday, December 3, 2009. Basil was feeling a bit uncouth so she decided to take a trip to a historic site! Welcome to Fort Pike. The first fortress commissioned by the United States government! During the tour, she got to fire a canon! Basil even climbed on top of the Fort to get a better view. Truth is, Basil hasn't had any adventures in that time. A year ago, I moved from Mississippi to Maryland and took Basil with me. She did not adjust well to this move.
