The walks described here are not generally of a too serious nature. We aim to add descriptions of walks which have been enjoyed by our guests, and may not have done ourselves. Where possible, details not normally included in the various walking guides (which we can usually provide) have been included. Click on the entry to go to the description of the walk. 1 A north coast walk between Portreath and Porthtowan. 2 A circular walk along the north cliffs, returning through Tehidy.

There are many small private museums in Cornwall, as well as the publicly funded ones. Many of the villages also have some form of archive, but these are often only shown during their summer fetes and carnivals, or special ‘display’ weeks. Main Shopping Towns in West Cornwall. Has a range of normal department stores (Woolworths, M&S, Littlewoods, etc, as well as many small stores. It caters for most needs.
