The Life of THE Butch. Friday, July 30, 2010. Lots to catch up on. Busted out the DH bike for an 8th in Pro class at Beech. Stoked for my result but at the same time I think I can do top 5. I just have to say that with the weather turning suddenly with temps in the 30's overnight and me still dealing with a 90 degree day's sunburn, I'm baffled. My mind and body are in a tailspin and yawns come out all day. But I've gotta fight the dreariness and flow with the change. Adapt. Overcome. Tell everybody else that you enjoy riding, but don't tell them what kind of ride, bike, trail, place, secret, gnar, long, steep, shallow, rolly ride. Just go have fun. Say hello to others on the trail.and keep on rolling. It's fun and that's all we should care about.

If I had a garage, I'm positive I could get both of our cars back up and running. But as it sits, the wife's '04 Altima sits immobile in the driveway with no way to get it to a buddy's garage.
