I bought myself a little bird charm to keep my goal close to me and it worked. Not fully but mostly! I am excited to start a new year with more changes and more growth! Who knows exactly what 2013 will hold for me and the boys. I hope for nothing but good positive things for us! Actually, who are you not to be? I want to gl...

http://themaysboys.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Tractors, Trucks, Trains, Lots of Love and Boy Things. Monday, December 31, 2012. Christmas was again a blur this year – maybe even more so than in years past. The boys and I had an amazing Christmas. Much, much different than last year’s – thank goodness! Here are some pictures to wrap up the last few weeks. Pictures from the live nativity scene and Christmas carnival that we go to every year at Woods Chapel:. Christmas lights - this was an awesome neighborhood! Christmas morning after Santa we headed o...

Tractors, Trucks, Trains, Lots of Love and Boy Things: April 2013
http://themaysboys.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Tractors, Trucks, Trains, Lots of Love and Boy Things. Tuesday, April 9, 2013. I hate to say it, but life has moved on from yesteryear – a man I used to know told me that and he was absolutely correct. I have not had time to post on this poor old blog in months at this point! Maybe that’s because I have been so busy, maybe it’s just because I don’t want to write on it anymore – honestly it’s probably both. This blog no longer represents my life or the life of my boys which was the whole purpose! I believ...

Tractors, Trucks, Trains, Lots of Love and Boy Things: September 2012
http://themaysboys.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Tractors, Trucks, Trains, Lots of Love and Boy Things. Wednesday, September 26, 2012. Last night I started thinking – oh great, so that’s why all of this bad stuff is happening to other people – so that MY faith will grow. I certainly hope not – but in that moment, that is exactly how I felt. Lord I am waiting and I am trusting; but oh how hard that is! Links to this post. Monday, September 17, 2012. Nolan's first concert - Passion Pit! Aunt B even tagged along and bought a ticket a few days before the s...

Tractors, Trucks, Trains, Lots of Love and Boy Things. Friday, April 27, 2012. Caution.Road Curves Ahead! Big changes are coming for me and my sweet boys! We are moving next Tuesday to our new little house. I cannot begin to tell you how excited/happy/scared/ready/not ready at all – I am! I spent a lot of last weekend painting and antiquing a kitchen table that my mom found at the market for me. It’s super cute! I just finished paying all my deposits for utilities, renting the U-Haul and scheduling my &#...

Tractors, Trucks, Trains, Lots of Love and Boy Things: My Word for 2012
http://themaysboys.blogspot.com/2012/01/my-word-for-2012.html
Tractors, Trucks, Trains, Lots of Love and Boy Things. Sunday, January 15, 2012. My Word for 2012. Some days I feel sad and scared, some days I feel anxious – it’s a daily struggle. My word for this year is “SOAR”. Looking at the word, it seems a little odd. I even had to double check the spelling because it didn’t look right to me when I first typed it. I think this word encompasses all that I want for 2012. Here is the definition:. 8226; To rise, fly, or glide high and with little apparent effort.

Tractors, Trucks, Trains, Lots of Love and Boy Things: 12-12-12
http://themaysboys.blogspot.com/2012/12/12-12-12.html
Tractors, Trucks, Trains, Lots of Love and Boy Things. Wednesday, December 12, 2012. How can it already be December? Seems like I just started this project and now it's over. It's been so fun answering these questions each month. I think I will keep it going next year! Maybe 13 questions on the 13th? We ate this for breakfast: The boys had CocoPuffs and I had a LaraBar (apple pie flavor – the BEST! Between the two of them they had $31 and purchased gifts for 26 people – these are HIGH QUALITY items.

http://themaysboys.blogspot.com/2012/12/mix-mash.html
Tractors, Trucks, Trains, Lots of Love and Boy Things. Tuesday, December 11, 2012. But it has gone remarkably smooth! Raeven and Roy Anthony are also amazing young adults. I know I will never have the same type of relationship with them as I will with the boys but I love the relationship I do have with them. They are funny and loving just like their dad and when they are home we spend the weekend cutting up and joking like old friends. Cheeseball day at Granny's house! Pics from Denton's birthday party!

Tractors, Trucks, Trains, Lots of Love and Boy Things: June 2012
http://themaysboys.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Tractors, Trucks, Trains, Lots of Love and Boy Things. Thursday, June 28, 2012. Recently have been “stuck” in a few situations where someone paid me a compliment and it made me really uncomfortable. Compliments have always been hard for me. I guess in my mind it just always seemed a little conceded to accept one. I always avoid them or comeback with something to negate it. I know logically that I am good a certain things; so why do I diminish it? I have never been a single adult so this concept is weird ...

Tractors, Trucks, Trains, Lots of Love and Boy Things: August 2012
http://themaysboys.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Tractors, Trucks, Trains, Lots of Love and Boy Things. Friday, August 31, 2012. First Day of School. Can not believe how fast this summer went for our family! I was expecting to be super emotional about Hudson starting Kindergarten on Monday but it really went very smoothly and was uneventful except for the rain! Hudson was such a big boy. He just marched right into his room and put up his stuff and started coloring. He acted like he had done it a million times before! Links to this post. It was not a pl...
