Baseball Cards Come to Life! Thursday, May 7, 2015. What a Day for Baseball Cards. Yesterday was quite a day for baseball cards for me. During the afternoon I cut out of work for a bit to take the subway to Brooklyn to get a free bag of baseball cards from a guy on Craigslist. Then after work I got another $3 box from my usual street vendor. Then I got home and there were two trade packages in the mail! I told Al I wasn't interested in this one but he offered to take $2 for it, and there was a small handful of Upper Deck Vintage in there, so I decided to take it for $2. Bowman has kind of replaced the old Classic, CMS and Best as the national producer of minor league cards. A lot of the photos have that old minor league feel, both in the poses and the backgrounds. Baseball Cards Come to Life! Thursday, May 14, 2015. 3 Box - Tradition. The bulk of the useful cards from the $3 box I picked up on Tuesday came from 2003 Fleer Tradition. Some pretty cool pictures in this set, like Willie Harris bunting in a desert parking lot. Another cool thing in this set is a lot of people in unfamiliar uniforms.
