More than just okay. Tuesday, August 4, 2015. While working on Fiddler with our community theater group, I discovered that they were having a drama camp for grade schoolers. It was the week after swim lessons were over. Perfect timing for Miss Adventure. She was agreeable for drama camp to be her bir thday present. It was a perfect fit. Made to measure . . . The students put on a play about the Trojan/Spartan war. Miss Adventure p layed King Men e. I demand a fight with Paris! She di d very well.

More than just okay. Monday, July 28, 2014. It has been just over a year since we started this project. We had a space in the basement that we converted to a bedroom for Miss Adventure. Mr. Wonderful finally had things ready for the Chemist to begin around the first of June. And 60 hours of painting later, she was finished. I didn't get as many in progress photos as I wanted, but there are a few. Here is the earliest photo of progress I have. Little by little, the chemist added layers . . .

After graduation, Geologist Ben invited all who could to come to a cook out in the back yard of the house he shares with 3 other students. We enjoyed the lunch and the chance to sit and chat. More than just okay. Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Miss Adventure requested a rainbow cake for her bir thday. (A 6 layer cake with each layer being a different color.) I decided I could try it. I mean, I wat ched t he Great Brit ish Bake-Off. How hard could it be? I decided to use two white cake mixes, each split three ways.
