The backpackers is available for group functions where the entire venue is available to you for your bachelors, hen, birthday, end of year or team building arty or function. Have a go sand boarding from the Blesberg Dunes which at a height of 210 meters offer amazing views of Silver Sands beach. We have a large range of sand boards for hire and can also offer lessons if required. We have a number of surf spots, the closest being Main Beach so if it’s blowing southeast or northwest there will always be somewhere to surf. In Forked RIver for use by its members. And to protect it from development. We are a not-for-profit organization and we own and maintain over 5 acres on the mainland side of Barnegat Bay with a beautiful view of Barnegat lighthouse. The club owns, pays taxes on and insures the beach property and uses membership dues to cover these costs.
