巴巴多斯今年1至6月的GDP约为22.34亿美元，实际增长为0.6%，低于一季度的1.5% 外汇储备总额约为6.78亿美元，比去年底减少了3160万美元，仅略高于2008年的历史最低水平，相当于15.9周的进口用汇额 得益于2011年四季度起食品和燃油价格通货膨胀状况的略微缓和，截至今年3月的年平均通货膨胀率约为8.9%，比2011年底的9.5%有所下降 由于旅游、制造和非制糖农业部门的就业岗位减少，导致截至2012年3月底的失业率从去年的11.2%上升到了11.8%。 财政收支 本财年前三个月 2012年4至6月 财政赤字为5665万美元，占GDP的比重约为5.1%。 国际收支 由于截至2012年4月朗姆酒和化学制品的出口收入分别增加了650万和400万美元，2012上半年外部经常账户赤字约为1.16亿美元，同比下降了690万美元，经常账户赤字占GDP比值约为5.2%，低于去年同期的5.7%。 旅游业 旅游业是巴巴多斯的主要支柱产业，2012年1-5月间访巴游客数量减少了1.5%，但游客在巴停留的平均时间延长了6.4%。
