Leeds University Union Japanese Society. Volunteering Opportunity in London. Japan Society UK is looking for around 100 volunteers to take part in the Mayor’s Thames Festival Night Carnival on 11th September. What they’re mainly asking for is people to take part in the lantern parade and also help out in their latern workshops during the day as well as donations of 1.5 litre – 2 litre plastic bottles to help make the lanterns themselves. Leeds University Union Japanese Society. Sorry it’s been a while since the last update, we had some technical difficulties that we needed to get sorted out. We had a great semester last term, and some fantastic events leading up to Christmas, including the Halloween Party and the Christmas Ball.
