Okay - just catching up on BB and Jules post that portion of the trip looks phenomenal - almost wish i went the first week and not the second- but talking with them on the phone after getting off the river white water rafting we are all ready planning another trip - so lesson learned! Wednesday, August 3, 2011. So we started day 4 departing from Junction City, Kansas. Let me just say now.I hate Kansas and I really don't understand why Dorothy wanted to go back there! I can say with certainty that I wish a tornado would have taken me out of Kansas. Well, I had been very excited about seeing all of the new scenery along our journey.up until now! There is absolutely nothing in Kansas but CORN (and I'm not talking about Bay Bay Corn)! So it's a cute sign right? Aren't we at the restaurant?
