http://bbpsseniornews.blogspot.com/2010/06/our-trip-to-motat.html
Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Our trip to motat. On Friday the 2nd of June the Year 5's and 6's went to Motat. It was a long and annoying journey because many people were singing songs. When we arrived we were told the rules. The part was to finally open our lunch box and eat our morning tea. After that we headed down to the classroom. At the classroom we were looking at levers, pulley, wheels and gears. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). We enjoyed our tennis lessons with the coaches from Auckland Tennis.

http://bbpsseniornews.blogspot.com/2012/03/goat-island-2012.html
Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Tuesday 6th March was a very exciting day for all the Year 5's at BBPS. Everyone gathered at school at 6.40am when it was still dark and boarded two buses heading for Goat Island Marine Reserve up north near Leigh. We have been studying all about marine reserves in class and their significance to marine life and the environment. The highlight of the day would have to have been the snorkelling! Such a fun day and we all want to go back again! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://bbpsmiddlenews.blogspot.com/2011/06/science-week-celebration.html
BBPS Middle Team Blog. Thursday, June 2, 2011. The Middle School celebrated Science week with a day rotating among the middle school classes learning everything from making 'goo' to eating lava rocks from erupting volcanoes, electrical circuitry and magnetism! In Room 17, with Mrs Howie, we learned that magnets have a North and South pole. We also learned that opposite poles attract and like poles repel. That means they either like each other, or they don't! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Friday, June 18, 2010. Mira as Nancy Drew. For the book character parade I dressed up as Nancy Drew from the book Nancy Drew the Secret of the lost pavilion by Carolyn Keen. I would recommend this book to 9-12 year olds. Because it is quite a challenging. Book to read over all I rated the book a 8/10. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
