Tuesday, January 12, 2010. My big girl just had her 2 month doctor's visit already. Other than the silent-hold my breath-turn purple-and scare mommy and daddy-cry during her shots, she did great! She weighed in at 11 lbs. 9oz. and 23 inches long. She is right on track, and we couldn't be more grateful. I have been cherishing every moment with Allie on my time off and it has been absolutely wonderful! Lazy, so I think I will do better when I get into some sort of routine with work. Hey, Check yourself! Monday, January 12, 2015. Let it be known that today is the day that gas prices have dropped to an all time low! Normally I pay $90-$97 to fill up the suburban. Well, not today folks! I filled her up for half the price! Prices have dropped from about $3.89 to $1.69 a gallon. I am skeptical that it will stay at this price for long, but we shall see. Hey, Check yourself! Sunday, September 14, 2014. Post 1/2 Marathon Run}. When I got home from the race at 1:00 in the afternoon, I laid on my bed and didn't move until Sunday afternoon. Nope, I didn't even change or shower. I was too worn out. I just slept. I was sore for a week after the race. It was hard to walk. My toenails throbbed. And they looked disgusting.
