Resources for youth services librarians. Mock Printz Awards — Take two! This is an update of an earlier Mock Printz Awards. To promote the reading and discussion of quality YA books, many library systems and regional library groups organize Mock Printz events. Typically, librarians will choose a list of 10-15 titles that they think merit inclusion on the Printz list. There's always been a word-of-mouth award buzz this time of year in the children's literature community.
