Established: August 21, 2003 Population: 4.5. Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Just when you had given up. Don't get too excited. this is a lame post with no pictures! But I was tired of being at the bottom of everybody's recent post lists, and so I am just adding a little note on our blog to say that we are still alive (although barely somedays). We have been having computer issues for quite some time now (which makes me love them even more- grrrrrrr) but hopefully all will be well soon? I thought there wa...

Established: August 21, 2003 Population: 4.5. Thursday, March 13, 2008. Here are a couple more pictures from our trip to Chuck E. Cheese. I think the one of Brienna is halarious because she just wandered over to the booth, put in her token and smiled. She is so smart and funny. She loves to have her picture taken and will always give me a big "cheese" whenever I have the camera out. What a cutie! I really don't know where her and Brandon get it! Thursday, March 6, 2008. You can never have too much fun!

Colorado Cottrells: September 2013
http://coloradocottrells.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
For some moments in life, there are no words. Thursday, September 12, 2013. Who knew that there was so much water stored up in the clouds. This rain just keeps on coming and coming and coming and coming! Well, that massive storm was just one of many to come over the next few days. Wow. Thunder, lightening, huge raindrops, massive puddles, and rain rain rain, then came the flooding. But it is intimidating, impressive, scary, and beautiful all at once. And this is fascinating: each of the posts on the walk...

For some moments in life, there are no words. Thursday, July 18, 2013. A few puddles in Taylor Park! So, Shawn and Stephanie bought all new rain gear in preparation for a rainy weekend at Taylor Park. Lo and behold, as soon as they arrived, the rain stopped and not another drop fell! Butwe couldn't let all that perfect rain-gear go untested! So we found a few puddles and river crossings and put it to good use! Twice as tall as the RZR itself! Taylor Park, CO with Shawn, Stephanie and Family! Good thing w...

For some moments in life, there are no words. Friday, January 31, 2014. Snowy last day of January. We got a nice dump of snow today! Jadeyn and I constructed a snowman from spare parts from the yard and hot tub toys: swim goggles, paddles, rocks, swing set steering wheel, etc! Saturday, January 25, 2014. Tons of ...

For some moments in life, there are no words. Thursday, May 22, 2014. Last Day of Kindergarten May 2014. Last Day of School! I can't believe that I officially have a first grader today. Its amazing how fast the year has gone and how much Jadeyn has grown in this year. Mrs Licardi was an amazing teacher especially for him. She kept order very well, but she never raised her voice or hurt his self confidence. She was great! I was proud of him! All the kids piled out to the park and played before joining the...
