Feb 16, 2012. Dallin just turned 12! I can't believe he's a deacon. We are very proud of him for his desire to receive the priesthood. He takes his worthiness very seriously. Dallin is a very bright kid who works hard - a great combination! Dallin is very persistent which is great when it payed for his Outdoor Ed. field trip - by being the top seller, but not so great when it shows up in arguing with Mom and Dad. The summer seemed way too short, and I wasn't ready to send them off to school yet. This year, everybody had their first day of school on a different day. Jan 12, 2012. I'm a big kid now! This morning, we discovered Tanner's first tooth! And last night, he just layed on the floor and drank a bottle all by himself! He's almost 9 months and it's crazy how fast he's growing - sometimes I wish we could just push pause and let him stay like this just a little bit longer. At the same time, it is so fun to watch him grow. Tanner does not suffer from lack of attention around here! I'm sure he's scared! And I'm sure he was just savoring a little piece and quiet.

Aug 19, 2013. Cabelas on a Monday night. A Cabelas just opened up about 20 minutes from our house, so we decided to all go and check it for FHE. We walk in and it is amazing! A crazy amount of dead stuffed animals on the walls, and a huge aquarium. Who needs to pay to go to the zoo? We walked around, tried on hats, played with pop guns, shopped a bit, and picked up treats for the drive home. I think it was a success! This is the hoodie Talie picked out for her Bday;). Christmas Eve means New Christmas Jammies. Our family tradition on Christmas Eve is to open one present and that present is usually new Christmas pajamas. The boys are always sure they know just what is in the present so after lots of tossing, hugging, and patting of their presents they open them up. After opening the present and putting on their new jammies the boys all had to demonstrate how awesome they were by jumping off the table at the bottom of the stairs. Grey gets some air. Christmas Day and he said NO PEEKING. The boys could enter the stairs from the top. They were amazed to step into a tunnel. They boys are getting ready to come down and see what Santa brought for them. A huge part of the Christmas fun was breaking down this wall and charging in to see the Christmas tree and all of the fun things they had waiting on the other side. Jeff is such a fun Dad.
