I'm having surgery soreness and lots of throat pain, but I'm treating it as best I can. I may not be able to eat much Thanksgiving dinner today, but maybe by the weekend my throat will allow it. Hair Growth - 17 Months Post-Chemo. Flat-ironed hair measures about 5.5 inches long now. I still don't know what I want to do with it though. :-). Curled - Sunday night. So sorry I haven't blogged in so long! Thankfully, there hasn't been much to post regarding my testing and lab work. I visited the clinic again in late March for another CT scan, lab work, and doctor visit. Everything looked great! Mammogram/Ultrasound on May 4th. Next Scan in September. Links to this post.

A Look Through My Eyes. August 11, 2013. It’s been a very difficult 4 years for Terry’s family. This just feels like another blow. In 2009, their mother died from Alzheimers and other complications. On Father’s Day 2010, Lee’s second son was killed in the line of duty. It was a national news story because his killer was the son of the Dallas police chief who was strung out on drugs. In 2011, Terry’s oldest brother died after a 20-year struggle after a major stroke. What Do You Think?

It’s in God’s hands. I also think of Terry and Camille traveling here to meet us tonight. I pray Terry does not get sleepy and they arrive soon. I think about my jobs and how much I enjoy them both.
