The literal meaning of James is supplanter, which is one who "overthrows, undermines." an interesting connotation at first glance, but the more i've come to understand it, the more i believe that it recognizes a quality of determined strength and power. Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Big Adventures for Little Girls! Marmie and Poppy took James, Ben David and their cousin Kai on a super fun, "boy cousin only" beach trip last year. Addie and Caroline have been counting down until it was their turn…and just a few weekends ago, the countdown came to an end! Only Marmie and Poppy are capable of pulling out all the stops and creating the most perfect, memorable beach trip for two little ladies who love each other like sisters…"cousin sisters!

Saturday, June 7, 2014. This year marked what will most likely be a new tradition! The Wright/Anderson/Emmrich annual beach trip came a little early this year as we made our way to OIB the first week of June! Anticipating the start of Adah's first year at CCS, we had to mix it up a bit and head south before the fall. We had great weather, and though a bit of sickness threatened to dampen the fun, the Salty Olympics II forged ahead full force! All in all.another great week full of fun memories.

This year we had our biggest group yet! It was so fun to reunite with old friends and get together with new. We started the night with ornament making crafts and then enjoyed a yummy dinner together.
