Halloween Cards - the inside story. Halloween is almost the only time I decorate the inside of the cards. I don’t have any idea why that is, except maybe that Halloween is my favorite holiday and I have some pretty cool stamps for the inside. This one is made using a Hero Arts spider web stamp from a couple of years ago, stamped in Colorbox Frost White. My last post featured the gift box for my husband's birthday and I totally forgot to post the card. Duh! I couldn't resist using one of those crazy birds for the inside of the card, along with a little bit of sass. He expects that from me by now. I used a Lawn Fawn alphabet set for the sentiment - Violet's ABCs. He liked it :-). 8/11/15, 5:10 PM. As a non-colorer, Im not going to be much help there. I think your kitties look just fine! I’ve borrowed today’s title from The Crooked Stamper. She repeats that fairly often, and I am here to tell you that she is 100% correct. This looks like a simple enough card, right? Just grab some paper and a stamp and voila….card. HA! This, and more, is what it took just to create ONE card! Three pairs of scissors, one die cutting machine, a paper trimmer, some glue, ATG adhesive, four dies, foam tape, a stamp and some ink - and several hours - one manly birthday card is born! It's been a while since I've made anything blog worthy but I have lots of new things that need to be inked up, so I am trying to get out of my funk. My stash of birthday cards was non-existent so, where better to start? I grabbed my Simon Says Stamp set. From the Color of Fun release and a sentiment from a cute Paper Smooches set. It’s hard to believe, but the most adorable baby on the planet (my grandson) will soon be one year old. How did that happen? Well it did, and his mama and daddy decided on a Batman theme for his party so I volunteered to design the invitations. Here they are…. The inside was printed on yellow paper, no stamps involved. I found one on Pinterest and just recreated it - why reinvent the wheel, right? I can’t wait to see him again. I miss his sweet little face :-). See you soon, sweet baby! A Blog Named Hero.
