I think the biggest fear about going to the gym for women is to use the free weight area and the exercise machines that surround them. First, because of intimidation of the men in the weight area and second, the lack of knowledge of how to use them. So being the person I am, I said "Come on, let's take a walk". According to the American Heart Association (2010), salt should be limited to 2300 mg per day. 1 teaspoon of soy sauce has 2200 mg and even the low sodium has 1200 mg! 1 can of tuna has 250 mg of sodium, even chicken has natural sodium of 35 grams per 4 ounces and the list goes on and on! A client of mine checked in with me yesterday morning (as usual, because I am the FOOD POLICE) she was up 2 Pounds! She was baffled why?
