2016 is here already. Ongoing notes on Bea's adventures. Saturday, August 9, 2014. Glorious time of year. and more graciousness practice for me. So my dear friend and heart-sister Fiona/Fred's garden is producing a bountiful harvest, and she is kind enough to share with me. been loving it! Ate so many tomatoes that my tongue protested, now recovering. and squash! I am so very fortunate! Acupuncture seems to moderate my hot flashes - at least reduce the number of totally drippy ones i am having!

2016 is here already. Ongoing notes on Bea's adventures. Saturday, November 1, 2014. Change in the air. I guess that's a coping mechanism, but not necessarily helpful to the doctors! October brought testing and the possibility that i could get a shot rather than infusions, which made me quite happy (means a typical monthly experience could be less than an hour rather than approaching four! Thankfully the insurance approved the change. And a good assignment, and more quilting (obviously! Change in the air.

Someone asked me if this was "my new normal" and my first reaction was more along the lines of "oh, i hope not! And then i realized it could indeed be. Got my scan test results today - considered a mixed prognosis. some things measuring smaller, others unchanged, and one new tumor in the spine. And so i shall go on, one day at a time. Hey, hey HEY! We felt very blessed to have The Mr. home with us, and the time together as a family was the best gift any of us could have hoped for! Of course, we missed our distant relatives dearly, but were grateful to be able to skype them - thank you, modern technology, for bridging the gap and making holidays so much happier when you're far from family! Grins was super excited about his remote control helicopter!

Toy: Ella the kangaroo. Movie: Frozen (of course! Thing to do: Play games or read. Wiggles elected to have a Frozen birthday party. We enjoyed Frozen crafts, games, sing-a-longs, food, and more! Angel got into it and dressed up as Olaf the snowman! Wiggles has become very good at reading on her own! How we love your family!

Our kids love having fun, and we love them to run, so we jumped at the chance to participate! True to its title, it was a very fun event! I took about a million pictures of Wiggles warming up.
