Did you ever know that you're my hero? Thursday, March 21, 2013. Happy Birthday to You: 5 Years Old. On January 30 you turned five years old. Birthday girl at her PJ party. I mean where do I even begin? Other than to point out that this year has been huge, HUGE I SAY! I guess I can start with a quick run through of just a few of the tiny little life events that you have experienced this past year:. You turn four years old. You learn that in about 6 months time you will become a big sister. First day of JK.

Did you ever know that you're my hero? Friday, September 20, 2013. Happy Birthday to You: Everley Edition: 11 Months Old. We also monkeyed around on the swings. And took a speed boat ride around Lake Rosseau. But mostly we lazed on the beach and took in the view. Did some digging with Uncle Matt. And explored the sand (and ate the sand). And also, there were naps. Such glorious, warm, summertime naps. I love you,. Labels: 9 - 12 Months. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Beaches' Speeches: August 2014

Did you ever know that you're my hero? Sunday, August 24, 2014. The computer is there, staring at me, goading me to keep up with this writing that I've so grossly neglected for so long, way too long to ever be able to catch up now, in the fleeting moments I have to myself before I go to bed exhausted and it all starts over again tomorrow. Sometimes the computer does get turned on but it's work that happens in that case. Always just work. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. 12 - 18 Months.

Did you ever know that you're my hero? Sunday, September 30, 2012. Don't Worry, Be Happy. My poor lady. She's never had a stomach bug if you can believe it. In fact, aside from the 6 months of turbo spit up she had as a baby, she's only puked a handful of times, due to coughing or a secondary infection. She was so scared! My heart completely broke for her - but I have to admit my main concern was for Everley. OMG What if the baby gets it? What if I get it and have to care for the baby? Top 40 (before 40).

My tragic right hip. Busting out bad joints all over the place. December 19th, 2014. The Work Boyfriend: A Novel. Is in the world. It’s up here at Amazon, through Kindle Direct Publishing. And here at Kobo through their amazing Writing Life platform. And here at iTunes. Like I said, we’re curious to see how it all works. But, overall, I just wanted to prove to myself that I could finish something–and I hope for those who kindly decide to read it, that they enjoy it. Anyhow. I’m excited. And...Girl with t...
About « my tragic right hip
http://tragicrighthip.com/about
My tragic right hip. Busting out bad joints all over the place. June 18th, 2011. The very first real job I had was as a content producer for Alliance Atlantis. I spent days in the library researching fascinating articles about Shakespeare and the Second World War. Writing for a living, even though I’d consider myself a hack, let me hone my grammar (which hasn’t necessarily improved), feel more confident about my sentences and grow a thick skin. All important lessons. Books have never taken a backseat in ...

My tragic right hip. Busting out bad joints all over the place. March 25th, 2015. On Self-Publishing: The Work Boyfriend Experiment. While I was in graduate school, in a pitch of desperation during a flare-up of my Wegener’s, I made a list of accomplishments–not current, but what I wanted out of life. Most of them were typical for someone of my age and state-of-life, I wanted to have kids, and find a better job, and go to Paris, and England–and foolishly, write a book. We’re getting there. I...Like I ...

My tragic right hip. Busting out bad joints all over the place. January 14th, 2015. New Year’s Revolutions – 2015. Which filled me up in ways I find hard to express (ironic, isn’t it–a writer struggling with self-expression? And my job remained both in-tact and fulfilling. I had ten Revolutions last year, from Write to Sustain to Make Dinner. I think the word encompasses so much of what I want to accomplish over the next year, and while I want to do more–more writing, more reading, more travelling,...

My tragic right hip. Busting out bad joints all over the place. December 1st, 2014. Ellen in Pieces – Caroline Adderson. The last few months of my reading life have been bereft of a key ingredient: actual reading. I was having a hard time finding books, reading them, and finishing them. Not sure if I’ve found my way. Books have been the one constant in my life and, yet, I have so little time for reading. Caroline Adderson’s wonderful. And I’m taking lessons from reading. So Much For That. Busted on the b...

I’ve also published a number of abridged classics for young readers, a job that I take great pride in, simply because it’s really hard, and the books themselves are truly great tools for young people just getting their start with the written word:.
